« We selected this property specifically for fishing opportunities as alluded to in the listing. No bites from any point of the river on property and only area easily accessible to the shallow river was the “beach” which is an embankment. Per host’s recommendation we drove off road (need FWD) approx 2 mi to another property access point-no fish. *We discovered Beauty Bay jetty in St Helen’s to be a wonderful fishing spot-<10 min drive. »

« Tara's Farmstay was a great experience for us. The cottage is quite cosy and contains everything one needs. The animals around the property made the kids quite happy. Having fresh out of the oven bread delivered to your door with home-made jam has been a first of its kind experience, truly enjoyed by all! The hosts are welcoming and a treasure of information for the suroundings. Certainly thinking of coming back. »

« The rural sheep farm offered quiet, a modern cabin, excellent food dinner, a wonderful farm tour that included wallabies, echidnas, a sheepdog herding demonstration, and an up-close sheep shearing demonstration. The owner is gracious and informative in several languages. We spent 2 nights enjoying comfortable beds and the calls of many interesting birds and animals. Nearby we can also recommend the gin distillery tasting and hiking the 3 waterfalls at Mt. Field national park. »

« Super ! Cet endroit est vraiment superbe. Au pied du mont Rolland , dans un écrin de nature. Au calme. Entouré par quelques animaux de ferme et multitudes de possums, wallabies. Proche de craddle Mountain Nous étions dans le cottage #6. Bien agencé, bien équipé avec une belle vue sur la montagne et la vallée pour profiter du coucher de soleil. « Our night was terrible. There was a big spider with a red back in the house. We are not expert, but it was very similar to a dangerous spider for our lives (redback spider). We were there with a baby and it was not a safe environnement for him and for us. Outside, there was a lot of tasmanian devils who was running around the house, knocking at the windows all night long and attacking others animals. Next, the washer was out of order.
