“Jewel of Jamica”
Very relaxed and elegant. Quiet and a wonderful place for both families and couples. All rooms are steps from the beach and very nice. Main resturant open and has a beautiful patio. As soon as you arrive you feel younger...
“Awesome Place, What you should know....”
This romantic, safe place was awesome. Beautiful, marble lobby, cool staff (young and old, all sweet), beautiful beach, and great pools and tennis courts and such. The only drag is the restaurant isnt that great, and there aren't many choices nearby, if you're not staying in the pricey villas. There is a killer jerk joint (which is, sadly, exclusively full of tourists) down the street, though, Scotchies. KEEP IN MIND: You are a 20-minute drive from Montego Bay, and removed from the real Jamaica.
“A Premier Resort”
This was one of the better experiences we've had bar none. The staff is polite and attentive. The accomodations are exemplary, and the grounds are magnificent. On the down side, was the pricing of food and drinks. We paid $22 on average for two drinks.... this is exhorbitant, and you are sort of captive to it since travelling outside the resort requires assistence to insure your safety (at night).
“Amazing Resort”
The resort was beautiful and the room was beyond my expectations. The service was good and the staff were friendly. The only downside was that food and activities were a little pricey. This is definately the place to stay.
“I would definitely go back!!!”
The staff was pleasant, friendly, and helpful. The room was beautiful and the view was breath taking.
“Outstanding”
This hotel was beautiful and the service was excellent. I had some business to transact, and the staff went out of their way to assist. The ocean view suite was the best.
“I wanted to stay!”
This was the first time my sister and I traveled to Jamaica and we had the best time of our lives. EVERYONE was so nice and friendly. We heard that Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and a host of other royals and celebrities stay there, but they treat everyone like royalty. We truly felt like two Queens. I didn't want to leave, but I definitely will return. Take lots of cash because they love to receive tips, but they deserve it! The staff at Half Moon is the best!! The resort is beautiful!! The entertainment was great!! Half Moon is my home away from home. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Thank you Half Moon for making our trip so momentus. We can't stop talking about it. meals. I highly recommend Half Moon! Enjoy your trip! Yeah Mon!
“Great Value”
If you do not like huge towering hotel, this is the place for you. Staff was very freindly.
“Jamaica's Best!”
This hotel is beautiful. My husband and I were attending a family member's wedding being held at the hotel. The wedding was just exquisite. It was like being in a fairy tale setting. Walking the beach in the early morning was simply the best. Every one of the hotel/spa staff was professional, friendly, extremely courteous, attentive and very respectful. I would go back in a minute!
“Best Place in Montego Bay”
Had a great time at the Half Moon Club. The staff there is incredible. Would go back in a heartbeat. Very private, not for party people. More for families and couples who like it quiet and relaxing. Rented bikes and rode around their 400 acre heaven. You can even rent golf clubs. Food a bit pricey so recommend the meal plan. worth it.
