"Great location hotel, close to many restaurants!"
My daughter and I were looking for a place to do some shopping and enjoy some fine dining and this hotel is in a great location for both! Equally important to us was that it needed to be close to the Metro - again, this was great because we didn't have to walk far to find the station.

This hotel is in the college neighborhood, so there are many interesting restaurants within walking distance. It's only a short walk to historic old town ans even Chine Town is walkable or take the Metro (subway). the metro is a block away.

"In town for a long weekend"
We were in town for a long weekend. The room was large and so was the bathroom. It looked a little dated but clean and in good condition. The breakfast was very good. We were very close to the subway, a park with outdoor entertainment and many restaurants and bars. The street the hotel is on is not very nice.

"great location "
Nice place, rooms are huge, elevator to get to them is a night mare how ever! Doors don't lock propper. The showers could be a bit cleaner.... The corners.... View from window led to a filthy alley! That could be cleaned up! Would take 10 min! Other then that great place!

"Spacious and reasonable priced hotel"
Booked a two-bedroom suite. Spacious and clean. Big kitchenette with full-sized fridge. Asked for a quiet room and was given one. Location was quite good. Some staff was very friendly although one or two of them were not helpful when we had enquiries. Bed was too soft though. Not suitable for those with back problems.

"decent hotel, rude staff"
Rooms are comfortable enough, a bit dated though. the main downfall was staff to be honest, not friendly or helpful at all. to the point where it was almost a nuisance that you were asking them to do their job.

Merci beaucoup! One room reeked of smoke; the others did not. The breakfast lacked protein but the croissants were magnifique.

"Friendly and comfortable"
Luc and Robert were very gracious hosts. The term Bed and Breakfast does not do this establishment justice. The breakfasts were outstanding and visiting Maison des Jardin for this feature alone is well worth it. I look forward to my next visit.

For starters, you can’t miss the University of Quebec Montreal. The school has given rise to bookshops, late-night cafes, and lived-in pubs. The Latin Quarter is also home to the biggest LBGT-friendly area of the city. Falling mostly along the rue Saint-Catherine, this section of the city is the site of the annual Montreal Pride Celebration.

The biggest attraction of town is the Grand Bibliotheque. This massive library is home to thousands of tomes and archives. It’s common to see both students and locals relaxing in the aisles with a good book in hand. The Cinematheque is another popular spot in the neighbourhood. Founded in 1963, the Cinematheque is a movie conservatory, with dozens of preserved films. There are often public showings for visitors--though keep in mind, most movies are shown in French.
