"Central location. Affordable. Comfortable."
We wanted a good place in Montreal to stay for a single night, near the Cinematheque. We found this perfect one. It's close to Berri-Uqam metro station and to lots of restaurants/bars. I recommend it.

"Great accommodations in a beautiful part of town!"
Had a great time at Loft Hotel! Only issue was the room was very warm and there was no way to adjust it unless we had the staff shut off the heat in our room all together. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

"convenient location, friendly staff."
3 nights: very lucky to get a clean corner room (Queen room has bathtub), so excellent day-lighting + enough space for 2 people. enough outlets for re-charging. each brekkie: a warm pc of pre-sliced baguette plus warm croissant, comes w/ peanut butter, jam, butter, honey (i put in coffee), Tea/Cf, juice box. small fridge is handy since IGA Grocery right across street on St Cath has sushi/cold/hot food take out! then i found the food court (lots of choices) beside IGA leads to Berri-Uq Station which was great since it was raining. plus lots of dining choices St Cath, St Denis nearby. room temp perfect as it got cold in MTL in late Sep, has extra blanket in drawer if needed. one front staff was willing to boil water when i needed, thanks !

"Hotel très accueillant et super personnel"
Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique dans cette hotel. Certe des petites renovations soivent etre faites (prévu d'ici 1 mois pour la renovation totale de l'hotel) mais le personnel d'accueil et de chambre etait tout simplement formidable! Un grand merci à vous. La chambre etait d'une propreté incroyable chaque matin. L'hotel est super bien situé à deux pas de Saint Catherine. Je vous le conseil très fortement! Mike

"Friendly staff, nice rooms"
We got in early and the staff already had our room ready for us. They were happy to take time to give us a quick overview of local sights as well. Our room was cozy and pretty - I loved the hardwood floors and exposed brick walls. Moreover, the location couldn't have been better - we were very close to two Metro stations, within a 20-minute walk from the train station, and right in the heart of an area with lots of restaurants and activity. We'd definitely stay again!

"Very clean and comfortable!"
We stayed at the hotel because it was close to the central hub of the Berri-UQAM metro and a short walk from Old Port. The room was spacious and very clean. Bed and blankets were comfortable. Had mini-fridge, table and chairs, microwave and kitchen sink. It was like a nice small apartment. Make sure you use the fan when you are taking a shower. The steam from our shower set off the fire alarm. Whoops!

For starters, you can’t miss the University of Quebec Montreal. The school has given rise to bookshops, late-night cafes, and lived-in pubs. The Latin Quarter is also home to the biggest LBGT-friendly area of the city. Falling mostly along the rue Saint-Catherine, this section of the city is the site of the annual Montreal Pride Celebration.

The biggest attraction of town is the Grand Bibliotheque. This massive library is home to thousands of tomes and archives. It’s common to see both students and locals relaxing in the aisles with a good book in hand. The Cinematheque is another popular spot in the neighbourhood. Founded in 1963, the Cinematheque is a movie conservatory, with dozens of preserved films. There are often public showings for visitors--though keep in mind, most movies are shown in French.
