"Location Location Location"
The staff were nice and friendly which was a great welcoming to the city. The rooms themselves are a bit tight-- we had the double bed with private bathroom. It was a bit difficult to groom myself int he shower as it was pretty tight but other than that the bathroom was appropriate. The room was clean except for the walls which had dirt or scratches from what I can assume is furniture... or people trying to move around. This was okay with us since we did not spend a lot of time in the hotel. Also, the room did not have a table to eat on despite there being a kitchenette. The continental breakfast was nice, the people tending the space were very attentive, the only thing I would have liked to see is fruits and yogurt. The location was perfect in an area with an abundance of restaurants, bars and cafes. There was a nice mix of tourists and locals. I found that we could walk everywhere with no issues-- we walk quite often in our own city.

"Pleasant comfortable room"
We were pleasantly surprised with our room and because of it, we would definitely come back. The large tub seems to be a waste of space, since there is already a bathtub in the bathroom. Indoor parking is a block away and down the street, which we found a bit inconvenient, but not much can be done about this.

"Nice hotel close to many different reataurants."
If you do not mind walking, this hotel is about 30 min walking distance to busy downtown. It offers spacious rooms and friendly staff. More of the feel of the condo rather than the average hotel room.

"Perfect for the weekend!"
This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at Hotel Elegant while in Montreal. And we were just a pleased with it this year as we were last year. We were in town for the Comic Convention and were not in our room for much time, but it was exactly what we were looking for! Pleasant staff, clean room and parking right in front of the hotel! Couldn't ask for more(and at an awesome price). I would absolutely book there again!

"Lovely hotel, close to everything."
I was staying with 3 other friends, so the price for the room was really good! We were fortunate enough to get a newly renovated room. The hotel was in a very convenient location; the subway station( Berri/UQAM) was about a 2 minute walk down the road, and St.Catherine street was about the same. Lovely cafes and such to grab breakfast if you didn't opt for the buffet. And the staff were very nice and always smiling.

"Centrally located."
We enjoyed our stay at the Labelle Suite. It is located in the Latin Quarter which is quite a vibrant area. The 747 bus service from the airport drops you off a few minutes’ walk away. The Berri-Uqam metro station is also very close. Everything went well with check-in. We were given a large room with two double beds, even though there were only two people in our party. The room had a small bath with overhead shower. We found the reception staff really helpful. The room comes with a decent kitchen area with two hot plates, a microwave, and crockery and cutlery. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with plenty of hot and cold food.

"Great location and nice room."
I had a good room. The service was great. The only problem was that the staff would abruptly turn on the heat late at night and the room would become steamy hot. I had to go to the reception every night and ask them to turn it down, because it was impossible to sleep. Excellent location. Great service. Very affordable prices. I liked the place, otherwise and would recommend it to everyone.

"Great service, great location"
This was my first time in MontreaI and when you're new to a city, it's always pleasant when people are nice and make you feel welcome. When I checked, in the guy at the front desk was very nice, gave me a map and took the time to explain where we were and the areas of the city that might interest us. I stayed here for two nights, the room was clean and the size just right for two people. I wasn't looking for anything luxurious or ornate. I've payed more for hotels that aren't nearly as clean and pleasant as this. And breakfast is included!

For starters, you can’t miss the University of Quebec Montreal. The school has given rise to bookshops, late-night cafes, and lived-in pubs. The Latin Quarter is also home to the biggest LBGT-friendly area of the city. Falling mostly along the rue Saint-Catherine, this section of the city is the site of the annual Montreal Pride Celebration.

The biggest attraction of town is the Grand Bibliotheque. This massive library is home to thousands of tomes and archives. It’s common to see both students and locals relaxing in the aisles with a good book in hand. The Cinematheque is another popular spot in the neighbourhood. Founded in 1963, the Cinematheque is a movie conservatory, with dozens of preserved films. There are often public showings for visitors--though keep in mind, most movies are shown in French.
