“Excellent Hotel!”

This hotel was excellent! So clean, even the bathroom. I am very picky about hotel bathroom cleanliness and this one was very impressive. Hotel staff was great, friendly, and very helpful. Great location - close to the lake, and up a short drive so it has a very private and set-back feeling. Would definitely stay here again.

“Clean Comfort”

My wife and I arrived at the Hampton Inn after a long day of photographing the foliage in Vermont and the Lake George area. We were exhausted. As soon as we entered the lobby, we knew that this was a hotel that was well kept. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. The staff was very friendly. We entered our room and saw that it was immaculate. The room was well arranged with plenty of seating. The king bed was soft, yet firm, and had clean smelling linens. I enjoyed the four pillows that were also provided. We had plenty of towels for the shower that was very invigorating. The continental breakfast was on the main floor and offered waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, cereal, juices, toast coffee, tea and much, much more. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we look forward to staying there again.

Area recommendations

Bolton Landing. Great little shops. Plenty of places to eat. Pleasant atmosphere.

Getting around

Bolton Landing has public parking. Easy to walk from parking to local shops.

“Good quality breakfast, helpful staff, nicely decorated”

Our room was clean. I liked the breakfast - omelet, bacon, waffles, cereal, all nicely spaced out so guests do not bump into each other. Eating area has lovely high ceiling. Pool is basic. Room is on the small side. Nice sylvan surroundings.

Area recommendations

Lake George. In good driving distance to Wal-mart, outlet shopping and Great Escape amusement park.

Lake George outlet shopping is worth the drive.

“Going back to Hampton at Lake George”

We really enjoyed the stay at the Lake George Hampton Inn. It was beautifully decorated. The staff was welcoming. We enjoyed the main street of Lake George with it's storefronts and restaurants. The paddleboat on Lake George was so picturesque. My family and I will be back in July!

The waterfront and main street were bustling and picturesque. The lake and paddleboat are beautiful.

“Lake George best kept secret”

Second time I stayed here and was very pleased. I was completely satisfied with the cleanliness of the room, comfort, and location. Will definitely stay there again upon my next visit.

Check out the Docksider and the Loft. Great places to eat. The Docksider had a great entertainment.

“Lake George”

The hotel has a nice view of the surrounding mountains and is only moments away from Lake George Village. It is easily accesible via I-87 and close to many dining options both in the village and moving south down 9N towards Glens Falls. The breakfast service is excellent, a continental assortment as well as a make your own waffle griddle and 3 hot options to go along with it.
