« Excellent hotel and food in very rural hamlet on mountain road. Food is preordered for the evening if having meal . Beware hotel is on a mountain road with very very narrow width just width of car with blind corners and drops. Make sure come up from Lochinver not the other end or else you wish you hadnt if meet the motor caravans with no where to pull over. You be lucky to get out of 2nd gear. Dont attempt to drive this road if not a confident driver or novice. Be warned !! Barriers appear to...

« Lovely place with fantastic views and a sunset to die for. 2 mins walk to beach, very peaceful. The whole place was very high end and well cared for. Sean greeted us at the property, handed us slippers and showed us round. Even brought us 2 chairs for the patio when we asked. We felt we were in a 5* hotel and a little bit nervous of living up to the exacting standards...every surface was covered, even the sofa. Notices everywhere! Despite that we loved every minute. Only things missing..a dish...

« What an unusual experience to stay in such a remote place. Our greatest pleasures were sitting on the outside bench watching life go by and all the remote walks we took. Plus…. the amazing piano! « The cottage was very comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated with a warm atmosphere. Wonderful views of moorland and mountains from every room in the house and view to the sea from the garden.
