“Hotel de passage à Bangkok”

“Fabulous stay”
The quality of this hotel is astounding, especially in relationship to the price we paid. We had reserved a Club level room but seeing we arrived at 8:00 am, our room was understandably not ready. We were invited to enjoy breakfast in the lounge and by the time we finished, they had prepped a room for us and had delivered our bags. Our Club privileges included breakfast, afternoon tea, cocktails and canapes. We had to make an effort not to take advantage of the wonderful food and hospitality at the hotel so we could enjoy some some of the delicious street food and restaurants. The staff were all very kind and gracious and we wouldn't hesitate to return to the Renaissance.
“Funky new hotel in Bangkok shopping district”
Nice modern hotel in the heart of Bangkok shopping district. Loved the room (which was spacious and has a great view) however the drain in the shower was making noise through out the night. Also, they are stingy with the bath towels, only two were provided. On our first night, the cleaners failed to turn up for turn-down/cleaning so we returned to the room after our night out to find the room uncleaned and used towels still on the floor. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to travelers who are looking for a 4 star + accommodation in central Bangkok as the price we paid was very reasonable for what we got. p.s. there is free WiFi access through out the hotel for Marriott Rewards members.
