Super séjour au bord de la très belle plage de Santa Monica dans un très bel hôtel . Tout était parfait , chambre où nous avons été surclassé , services . Bref à recommander tout particulièrement.

L’hotel est bien situé à proximité des rues commerçantes du pier et face à la mer Un nombre de homelesses incroyable Pas de danger apparent mais oppressant Casa del mar est un hôtel confortable avec des chambres confortables et de bonne taille globalement le personnel est avenant sauf la réception qui ne personnalise absolument pas son accueil chambre disponible à seize heures point de salut avant suis resté presque deux heures dans le hall à attendre sans considération particulière le restaurant a une très belle vue sur la mer mais ne pas s ‘attendre à un fine dinner correct sans plus petit déjeuner autant aller dans les pubs alentours plus sympa la piscine plus un bassin mais bon le lieu n’est pas désagréable et bien ensoleillé hôtel oú l’on passe pas oú l’on séjourne

Hôtel sur la plage
Tres bel hôtel situé sur la plage. Personnel extrêmement aimable et souhaitant rendre votre séjour agréable. Les chambres ont une jolie deco, pas tres grandes mais bien aménagées. On bénéficie des installations et services de l’hotel “frère” le shutter.

Une belle surprise !
Nous avons passe 3 superbes nuits dans cet hôtel, joliment décoré pour Noël. La lounge avec sa cheminée et son piano est agréable le soir et la cuisine servi est excellente. Nous avions une chambre avec vue sur l'océan et un jaccuzzi dans la salle de bain, ce qui donne un vrai plus au confort. Le ménage a toujours été fait soigeusement, et le staff est globalement sympathique même si un ou deux nous a pris de haut. L'hôtel est très bien situé, sur la plage, près des quartiers chics et des restos sympas. Nous étions un peu inquiets avant l'arrivée du fait de certains commentaires sur trip advisor (chambres chères pour mauvais service, room service et autres prestations très chères) mais je pense qu'il faut remettre les choses dans son contexte: Le casa del mar est un hôtel de luxe, dans un quartier chic donc si vous voulez vous faire plaisir sans contrainte de budget je vous le recommande, sinon il faut aller ailleurs.

Situation idéale pour cet établissement
Les services offerts par cet hôtel sont très efficaces et discrets. Son emplacement sur la plage et à proximité de la 3ème rue permettent de nombreuses activités à pied ou à vélo. On regrettera un lobby un peu sonore et bruyant à notre goût. Globalement nous en garderons un très bon souvenir.

Superbe séjour
Nous avons passé quatre jours au Casa del Mar et avons été très bien accueillis, upgradés dans une suite vue mer et avons eu un superbe service - à l'exception du petit déjeuner, très lent, très cher et pas toujours bon. Emplacement magnifique, sur la plage. Piscine minuscule et très peu profonde.

Luxe, confort et vue imprenable sur la plage
Un hotel qui séduit par son confort raffiné, des chambres conçus pour s'y sentir heureux, un service souriant et efficace, mais surtout vue imprenable sur Santa Monica Beach et ses activités. Bonne restauration à prix raisonnable. Le moins: la piscine au cinquième est un peu étriquée, mais bon, elle a cette fameuse vue.

I loved our stay at casa! I care most about the quality of the service and from the moment we got to the hotel until we left, we felt super well taken cared. The room is beautiful, bed was exceptionally comfortable and we enjoyed using the complimentary bike to bike down Santa Monica beach. Super happy we stayed here!

Doorman and valet were great - pricy at $65 day but worth it - clean property - bar and dining is together - it was nice but with the live music just know it is hard to hear over a table - view was great - food was fabulous! Room was beautiful. Lots of light and comfort and great stock of things to use or purchase of you forgot something. As with many places, the homeless in the area is a problem. The complimentary car anywhere within 3 miles saved the day. The pier was not the place to be at 9 pm with two women - the folks will say safe and don’t worry lots of police but all we found was an empty cop car - and we were harassed twice - to the point of crossing the road twice, confronting the man following, etc. maybe different in day or maybe we should have asked other women instead of men if they thought safe. From Vegas, so high tolerance for crazy - but this was scary where I was concerned for the safety of my daughter. Like we said, being able to call for the car was a dream! Lots of great restaurants in the area and a walking distance. Rental bikes and jogging trail along the beach amazing. We enjoyed the room, but would not likely come back to Santa Monica to stay - it is not what I remembered. The property did everything they could to make it a great stay. For business, we would stay here again. Note to self - stay away from shop. I’m going to follow mamas advice on what to say here. Front desk - perfect!

Paid about $800 for a king size with a city view, didn’t really get much city view since the windows were pretty small, I might also add that the room is also quite small for the price I paid. the menu for dinner lunch breakfast are quite expensive, $22 for a toast? overall the staffs were pretty nice and professional.

This is a beautiful property but very expensive. I don’t mind paying a lot for the room but everything had a huge charge on top if it. $25 for bubble bath, $40 for daily valet parking and a resort fee. When you are paying $1,000 a night fir a hotel these things should be included in the price.
