« Not to miss sunsets and sunrises in the valley that you only find when camping here! And being a dark sky park allows the stars to dazzle you at night. Great accommodations and location. The staff is super nice. Only downside is how close the tents are. We came on a holiday weekend and the place was full. Lots and lots of kids running screaming, which made it not so restful for us quiet types. But all of the views made up for the bad people experience. »

« We stayed at one of those tiny homes. It was cute and comfortable for six of us. The only thing is the heater. it got really hot where the queen bed was, but all the other area stayed pretty cold. So some of us were sweating at night but some of us were freezing. Other than that we didn’t have any problems. Had beautiful view of mountains, got to see some deer on the site as well. Overall we very much enjoyed the stay! »

« This was a great option for my kiddos who wanted to camp, and for me who didn't want to deal with setting up or breaking down a camp! The folks from the front office were wonderful and very accommodating to a last minute change in the number kiddos coming on our trip. According to my daughter, we'll be staying here every time we're in the Durango area! »

« Good experience, great for after Red Rocks shows, had a propane heater (it snowed, so this was key), clean bed. Property had some old cars and things on it, but great views in most directions. Not luxe, but what we needed and as described. »

« Over we had a great experience! Bathrooms were incredibly clean! You must be okay with dogs occasionally barking, one of the owners dogs even came into our yurt but he was super friendly! Super close to the sand dunes and zapata falls! The yurt was closer to the house and camper than I thought but definitely a safe area! We took a walk around the subdivision and it was super nice with pretty views! The host is very on top of things and communicates well! I would stay again!!! »

« My buddies and I really didn’t expect much when we decided to rent a yurt for a weekend fishing trip to spinney mountain reservoir. That being said, we were pretty easy going about how small the yurt actually was. We weren’t, however, easygoing about the fire ant hill that the yurt was placed on top of.
