« The cabin was very charming, nicely decorated and very clean. The neighboring cabins were kind of close and a few cabins down, they ran chain saws all day. I enjoyed watching the loons, eagles and a baby otter on the lake. Hope the little guy survives the eagles. All is all, a very nice week. »

« This was a girls weekend for my mom, her sister and my friend. The property is very nice and there is a nice place to sit where you can watch the boats pass by. The large picture window in the living room is also great for this. The seating in the living room is great for relaxing and visiting. Appreciated the timely and clear communication with the host. »

« This older house made us feel at home. The view over the lake is amazing. We got a perfect view of a double rainbow from the hot tub. The fenced yard allowed us to bring our dogs making the trip that much easier. The house had some work being done on it, but I was impressed with how the work, though in progress, never detracted from our stay. The real magic of this VRBO is its location. « From booking to check out everything was great. Room was super clean and comfortable and we loved the extra treats in our room 😊 so close to a bar/restaurant and gas station. The restaurant next door has great food and service too! Only thing to mention is there is no sign by the road so we did pass it the 1st time. But would stay here again. So convenient to our family in Gwinn and Skandia »

« We enjoyed our stay. We were only there in the evenings we had campfire each night and at one one night the manager called to let us know that the northern lights were hitting and we jumped in the car, went about a mile away, and got fabulous pictures of the northern lights overall it was perfect. It was right in the middle of where we wanted to go. Rock hounding, and waterfall chasing. We would do it again. »

« We had a great time at The Pines. The hosts were very responsive to questions, the house has everything you could possibly need (including some nice homey touches) and the beds are comfy! We were there in the buggy season so did not use the outdoor spaces. We were very thankful for that big sunroom/porch to enjoy coffee and happy hour before and after our outings. Overall a great stay! »

« We loved the house and all of its charm. The view was amazing. Loved watching the freighters on their way to/from the Locks. We were there during both hot days (85) & cold (40). The ceiling fans kept the place very comfortable during the heat & the furnace kept us cozy when the weather turned. Great location with an amazing view! Convenient to gas, places to eat, groceries, and more. Host was responsive & helpful. We would love to return again! »

« We had such a wonderful couple days of peaceful serenity while staying at the Hannu Haus. There were do many special touches to the decor that added to the warmth & coziness of the log cabin. It had plenty of space to entertain and well thought out ideas for keeping children occupied. The coffee bar was exceptionally awesome and we all enjoyed the great coffee beverages that the Jura made!! I would give the Hannu -Hause 10 stars!! We hope to come back again!! »

« Home is cozy & felt very comfortable- Went to visit my daughter & her family who live 4 blocks from the rental. Home is older but clean & well-kept. Within walking distance of many stores, shops, and boat rides/ dock. Could use a second TV and second blow-dryer:) Back yard is enclosed and private.
