The staff were very friendly every interaction, however my boyfriend and I booked this hotel months in advance for 3 reasons, the location, the on site gastro pub, and the jacuzzi. When we arrived we had checked in and began exploring. I was not given a notice that the jacuzzi was broken and that the pub was “under renovations”. I put this in quotes because throughout my 6 day stay, nothing had been done within that area. Considering that I had booked this so far out, a phone call or email stating that these amenities were unavailable for our stay would have been appreciated. We enjoyed the area and made the best of our stay but this was quite disappointing. We were able to walk to a few beaches and basically any restaurant or bar we wanted to see in the San Juan area. As for the room, the bed was comfortable, but quite squeaky. The bathroom was littered with mold due to no fan being in there to remove moisture. It was in the shower, on the ceiling, and in the toilet. I know that it is quite humid here though.

Great location, staff was friendly, did I mention great location. Lol Hotel is in an area that is convenient, you can walk to shops- a different variety of shops, restaurants, and the beach! Overall the stay was great. Thank you!

My overall stay was average. Our room did not look like the photos presented online, and there was water coming in through our closet, I am assuming it was coming in from the other room. The room was consistently running the AC and was extremely cold and the room had an odd smell. Their hot tub is out of order and they are not fixing it or replacing it anytime soon. Their rooftop is completely closed although you can hang out upstairs on their chairs and in their broken Jacuzzi. I did not see any renovations happening at this hotel. I would compare this hotel to a Motel 6. If you are looking for a place to just sleep, this would be convenient. But if you’re looking to swim or Jacuzzi or do any other sort of activity, I would recommend definitely staying at a resort to have a good time in Puerto Rico.
