"I love staying at the Hillcrest Inn. I have stayed here becore and it's truly a hidden gem. The rooms are very clean and modern with a cabin outdoors vibe. The bathrooms are very spacious and has all moden amenities. I love the old school motel physical key on the keychain as well. If you are passing throthe area and need a safe quiet area for a very affordable rate, the Hillcrest Inn is the place to stay. "

"The cabin was very charming, nicely decorated and very clean. The neighboring cabins were kind of close and a few cabins down, they ran chain saws all day. I enjoyed watching the loons, eagles and a baby otter on the lake. Hope the little guy survives the eagles. All is all, a very nice week."

"We enjoyed our stay in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan. While the condition of the house was not perfect, the listing communicated any limitations, and we knew what the house was and it was as is expected. Otherwise, it was a nice house to stay in the center of the UP. While Trenary is a little remote from many of the areas we wanted to see, the central location made it easy to travel to the different places we wanted to go. We had a great time during our stay. "Loved my stay!!! Nicole and family clearly love and value their home and that shows in every aspect. It was thoughtfully stocked and the binder she put together for activities in the area was an awesome resource! I made good use of it! It was easy to feel like I was at home there. "It was so lovely to escape to the forest for a second time this year. The cabin was just the same as it was, and we did not have any issues. Sheri, the local point of contact, was attentive and respectful of our privacy. We stayed for two weeks, and she worked with us to pick up trash and refuel the generator.
