This was our worst stay out of all stays. We stayed at the Riu Palace and it was excellent along with the staff. The staff at Riu Vallarta was very rude at the front desk and seemed bothered anytime you asked a question or inquired about something. I went on an excursion and lost my bracelet and they arged me 25 dollars to torlace when it wasnt my fault. The ladys response was we have thousands of people and noone ever loses their bracelet. She refused to offer a free replacement without paying more money when we had spent thousands to stay there. Her name was Alma Rosa, very rude. I had another encounter with her later in my stay when i had left a photo book at one of theyre restaurants. When i asked if they had turned it in she seemed bother and non interested in helping. She made me wait 20 minutes. I then went back to the desk and her response was i cant get in touch with the staff they probably left and i cant help you. At that moment the gal from the restaurant happen to be leaving her shift and had my book, and brought it to the front desk. In other instances when you asked for something reminder all inclusive the staff seemed bothered and not friendly at all. My last poor instance with them was when i asked for toliet paper in my room, we were completely out. I called the first time requesting a role at 7am. They said theyd bring it right up, after 30 minutes i called again letting them know we had not received it. They said theyd bring some. Waited another hr nothin
