I was very excited to go on this trip especially because I heard such good things about Fiesta Americana. I have gone to Cancun and Cabo before and had wonderful experiences so I was looking forward to going to Puerto Vallarta for the first time. However from arrival the service was terrible. My family and I got there at 10 and were told we could not go eat on the restaurant or explore the property until 12 and if we wanted to it would be an additional $180 cost. There was no accommodation or even simply offering water . Then, the servers by the pool gave creepy vibes. One asked my daughter for the time when she clearly wasn’t wearing a watch to then proceed to drop beer on her. To make matters worse we had someone knock on our daughters room at midnight asking if she ordered blankets when she did not. It got to a point where we didn’t feel safe and had anxiety that we proceed to check out 2 day earlier than we should have. We got on the next flight out of there. Don’t stay here if you want your vacation ruined.

I was supposed to receive a bottle of wine because of the “vip”. To make story short, the bottle of wine arrived after I went to the reception in four different Occasion. At 7:30 pm in the last night of stay. Needless to say we even opened and give it to a stranger since we were flying to GDL.

I went by myself and felt very safe. The staff always kept an eye on me and did everything they could to make it a great experience. I absolutely will go back here. Their part of the beach is very beautiful! The only thing I didn’t like is that the native people are allowed to come around on the beach and try to sell you stuff… cups, sunglasses, hats. I didn’t want to be hounded to buy stuff I didn’t want or need. But I can’t say enough good things about the staff! It was a clean resort. Drinks were good. Food is pretty good. I drank the non bottled water and ate the ceviche and fruit. Didn’t get sick whereas I previously had at other resorts.

Room and property very clean. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing stay, this is your place as there isn't really any activities or entertainment here. Breakfast has everything you could possibly want. Restaurants had very good food. ALL of the staff are amazing. We had a wonderful stay here.
