What we did not know when we booked was that the property is under renovations, so there is machinery on site, and removed siding. the room was clean and a great size. the only thing that was off was that the a/c unit was not solidly installed to the wall seeing as we could see outside from the hole in the top. Other than that, staff was courteous, polite, friendly and helpful. it is centrally located and easy to get in and out of.

Easy access from the Interstate, close to everything. The pool and hot tub very clean. Breakfast was to my taste. The personnel are freindly and helpful. Was there last year and will go back

Kids loved the pool, though it was way over chlorinated. Couldn't even see you feet at the bottom in the shallow end. However, everything else about the hotel was great. Really enjoyed having a two room suite.

I didn’t expect too much from the property, it was on the cheaper end of the options I viewed without scraping the bottom of the barrel price-wise. Cons that were slightly expected when booking 2 star lodging: -Exterior renovations ongoing, with no advance warning (no noise issues, mostly just concerning to walk by when things did not look properly secured) -Bathroom vent falling out of wall -TV not functioning Cons that were dealbreakers: -The fitted sheet on the bed was absolutely shredded on the side -The zippered mattress protector had cigarette burn holes that went down through the mattress -The mattress protector had a large, brown stain in the middle (around 4”x7” in size) -After the first night, we left the lodging around 10a and requested at the front desk that the mattress protector and the sheets be changed. Upon our return (a little after 4p), room service had not visited our room at all and I was informed that they were all leaving shortly. I collected the new bedding and towels and changed them myself -Of the total of 3 nights we stayed there, our room never had any housekeeping done while we were out for the day (usually leaving around 9 and returning around 5). I’ve stayed at hostels before, where textiles were provided upon request and housekeeping was only done between guests. This experience was about the same (although a bit dirtier). Not the end of the world, but also overpriced for the level of service received

We went to check-in at 3:10 and were told that our room wasn’t ready and to come back on an hour. Check-in time is at 3p so we should have been able to get our room. No apology and no offer to discount the room. When we finally got in our room, it was not very clean at all. Bathroom toilet was gross and cigarette (or something) burn marks on the tub. Only one out of 4 light bulbs worked over the sink vanity. The water was warm but definitely not hot. Requested an additional towel 4 times and it still never came. The last time I went to the front desk to request the towel again, I was told to go to the laundry room and get it myself…huh? We went down to breakfast at 8:45 (it ends at 9a) and the guy clearly wanted us out of his way even though we were done getting our breakfast before 9a. It truly only took us 5 minutes! Ugh…definitely not the best experience at this hotel.
