"You get what you pay for. The room was surprisingly big. Aged but working bathroom. Mattress is soft, so those with back problems, be aware. The surrounding feels a but unsafe and dodgy. Even though its a buys main street but it feels like you've been watched."

"The setting of Batad Pension is unbelievably beautiful. It’s worth the trek in to spend the night there and really enjoy Batad. In addition, the owner is lovely and warm, cooks lovely food, and goes out of her way to be helpful to her visitors. I highly recommend Batad Pension and Restaurant"

"I WOULD AND WILL STAY HERE AGAIN! Staff was great and friendly. Room was clean and the bed was comy. The staff really tried to stay on top of the bathrooms which were down the hall. Neighbored is poor and working class, but I never felt threatened or uncomfortable. I was able to get every where I wanted to go for $5.00 US or less. "The doors don't lock totally unsafe the room is dirty beds not sleepable. Bathroom awful the showers is over the toilet, mosqito galour I didn't stay here and walkea straight out. Non refundable but honestly there is no way yoi caj stay here. Shouldn't even be listed as suitable. "
