"The Monterey Hotel is a nice property. The parking is close by and it’s walkable around the downtown/nightlife area. They have a private hot tub that you can reserve for an hour at a time, but we did not experience it due to the event we were going to in Monterey. Maybe because it is historic hotel it did not have normal amenities like a microwave or refrigerator. Overall, it was nice and the staff was very helpful and kind. "

Say two bottles of water in room not there when asked for them it was a big deal n ehen we asked for two more bottles we had to pay for them. Says there is a gym but the gym is across the street. Property has an area with fire pit and hot tub. There is a Tavern attached to the hotel with great food, beer and service which we especially appreciated after a long day of travel.
