"Surprised my husband with a weekend get away with mother-in-law, Daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter, and family pet (Otis, Great Dane)…met son, daughter-in-law, grandson in Jim Thorpe for a train ride Saturday. Friday night we ate at Baby Boomers which was 6 minutes away and returned Saturday for breakfast!!! So delicious and all enjoyed the chef’s cooking & large portions. "Warm, cozy cabin with beautiful views of the lake and forests. My girlfriend and I stayed here for four nights and it was the perfect chance to relax and unwind. Plenty to do in the community itself, and in the nearby area as well, but my girlfriend said her favorite moment was when this family of deer came by to graze along the front yard while we sat on the deck and watched. We had cooler weather in the front end of the stay and 80s by the time we left. "The house was perfect for alot of people with our being cramped. The bed rooms were great the only problem there was no tvs in therw qhich we all watch tv to fall asleep at night. But nothing a tablet couldnt help with. The only other issue was the tv in the living rooms wouldnt connect to the wifi i guess not sure ifnit was due to the weather or what other than that everything was perfect and will rent from you again next year."

"Stayed at the property while participating in the Jim Thorpe Running festival (April 28). Originally rented from the previous owners, but new owners Michele and Andy helped with the transition after they took over ownership of the property. They honored our agreement and made the switch seamless! Appreciated all their help. We really enjoyed the stay. "We spent the weekend here for a bachelor weekend. The house was everything we were looking for. The game rooms provided were a major plus for times when we were just spending time at the house. There was always something to keep us occupied. Great outdoor space for campfires. Plenty of places to sleep and enough bathrooms for groups. Responsive host who answered any questions. "I had a great experience at the Suntower Chalet. The house was very clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. I loved the decor and the hot tub was great to relax in after a day of hiking at Ricketts Glen. The checkout list was very short and reasonable. "We were a group of 16 with one wheel chair person and people from all around the USA. Matt was great to communicate with. :-). He was responsive and fast. Place was as advertised. It's a great 80's retro place. There is some deferred maintenance but it did not interfere with our stay.
