"The location was brilliant just around the corner from Star Beachboys surfboard hire and 2 short blocks from the main beach (Canoes- where the Duke Kahanamoku statue is). We had some problems accessing our key from the lockbox- you need to pull out or up on the grey tab- and getting in the apt door- turn the key right and then fully left. "Everything was exactly as advertised. Room is directly above a bar but we were not disturbed at all. Awesome view from the lanai to the water and the zoo. If you rent a car, don’t get anything large, as parking is very tight. Will come back here next time!"

"Our family of 7 adults were a bit cramped and sharing 1 bathroom was a challenge, but this is a great location - across the street from the beach, 5 minutes from Laie and the Polynesian Culture Center, close to the North Shore. Tons of beach gear to borrow - we were sorry that our few days there were rainy and windy. Still, way better than staying in Honolulu."

"Overall everything was great. I gave it a 4 because we paid for the week of parking and 3/5 days they oversold the parking so we had to park and pay at the zoo. Also bigger vehicles not a good idea as we couldn’t park one of our vehicles here at all due to height. We know for next time to get a smaller car too. "Overall good - staff (friendly and helpful), location outstanding to Waikiki Beach, shopping, food, and local markets/events. Room clean and sufficient for overnight stay (we were heading out on a cruise next day). Murphy bed was comfortable enough but difficult to get to go back in properly.
