"Absolutely loved our stay at the Andaz!!! One thing we did not enjoy was that it was $50/day for parking which we were not expecting. Breakfast was also $50/day (per person) along with a $50/day resort fee. Seemed like there wasn't much included in the price of the hotel. Overall, a stunning hotel and great service but we will these prices were a little more clear when booking."

"Loved the bungalow but every time you pay with points you become less priority. I paid for ocean view and ment a lot to me and I’m pretty sure it was a partial view of the beach. I had 75% of my view was the next bungalow. When you pay with points, you become less of a important customer."

"Unit was very clean and in a quiet area. Host was quick to respond when we had a minor issue. Unit was well-equipped which allowed us to save on purchases of basic items like paper products, detergents, and kitchen spices. Host also provided beach chairs,etc."

However, a few things that didn’t meet our expectations were the following: -overall checkin was frustrating and communication was lacking from the property management company. -lack of items in unit such as towels. None in the kitchen and no face towels. -shower/bathroom was a bit untidy when we arrived. -listing is a bit deceiving as the photos show the ocean front pool which is not apart of the complex. "We went to the Honua Kai with our 3-year-old daughter as a recommendation from a friend who had gone earlier in the year with their one-year-old. We went for the ability to have washer-dryer, kitchenette, pools that were family-friendly, and an on-site store and restaurant. It lived up to our requirements with regards to everything. I also used the gym which was adequate for what I used it for (primarily treadmill running - when I didn't run on the beach, that is). Would recommend!"
