"This property is located just south of the airport not in the tourist area. We were less than 1 minute walk from the prettiet water in one direction and less than one minute walk from the cheapest liguor in town and cheaper than the airport. This store also has resonably priced groceries. This is a laid back atmosphere in the resort. Contact Angelo for info on anything as well as excursions. To make your trip complete don't miss a chance to talk to the locals. Most are eager to meet and talk to you The weather is far superior to the other islands in the Caribbean. You must however drink a lot of their water, from the faucet. The people are very honest and you are safe as long as you use common sense. "

"Our entire family simply loved enjoying this amazing property. So serene. So relaxing. The ability to relax inside, outdoors in the shade, in the pool or on the beach! Everyone was able to enjoy the trip! No more than 15 minutes from just about anything you'd want to see or do in Aruba! Communication was lightning fast every step of the way. This gorgeous home and property will NEVER disappoint! Just GO!"

"This is an honest review please understand that this is a house divided into suites. So it is private extremely large property. We stayed in suite 1 which is only a bedroom and a bathroom. Very small closet in bathroom with 4 hangers so not much space for any extended stay. But the grounds and pool are lovely. Across the road is Mangel Halto beach and mangroves which are stunning. Is it 5 star? It is safe and locals are wonderful if you are looking for 5 star go somewhere else. If you are looking for low key away from hustle and bustle YES and extremely low budget. Do not expect to cook in your room but there is a grill and it I was pleasantly surprised to be honest."

"We visited this property for one week in Jan. 2024 with 8 adults and 3 children 2 years and under, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is amazing, as the pictures on VRBO show. It has its' own private pool, hot tub, and private beach. Plenty of pool and beach chairs, and clean beach towels provided daily. Bath towels and paper supplies were provided and were refreshed when housekeeping came every other day. The kitchen was well equipped and outdoor grill was provided along with outdoor dining table as well as indoors. We especially enjoyed the hospitality provided by Carlos, the onsite property caretaker. He checked on us throughout the day to assure that we had everything we needed. Joaquin, the Host, provided courtesy transportation to and from the airport by Island Rides. We also rented a van from Island Rides which was delivered to the villa and picked up at the end of the week. We hired Chef Vincent Pellegrini for 2 dinners and 1 brunch. He and his crew did a great job. I should note that this villa is located on the southeast end of the island away from all of the resorts and busy areas. This is what we wanted and enjoyed, but if you are looking for crowded beaches, honky tonks, and lots of dining options they are on the northeast end of the island about a 25 minute drive with lots of traffic and roundabouts. Nearby dining was The Flying Fishbone, Zeerover's and LaGranja."

"Everything said about Juan and Angela is spot-on! Great people, couldn't be better! Juan catered to my specific dive request at the busiest time of the year! The shop is steps from a dock where you can get fresh fish straight from the sea early morning or late afternoon. They will prepare the fish for you if you ask. But you will not be on the water here. Near Mangel Halto beach which is quiet and lovely. Do rent a car to get around the island. They will rent to you direct to save money and pick up and drop off at the airport. The unit is a one bedroom with two twin beds in the living room with small table. A/C works great in both rooms. The small kitchen has everything you need. I asked for a coffee maker and a grill and they were there waiting for us from day one. On arrival there was very little there beyond a bit of paper towel and half roll of toilet paper. We left behind extras, be prepared to buy cooking oil, really everything consumable or disposable. This includes beach towels and a cooler which for some reason we had to buy. One thing to clarify: the water temperature is whatever the ambient air provides. No cold or hot from the pipes. But water pressure is fine. The door has some gaps, be prepared for mosquitoes. Very basic interior, some work clearly handyman level. If that's not your thing, this isn't your place. But we had a blast and could not have been happier. Great people and if you dive, these are the ones you want!"

"It’s a great place to go to unwind. If you like snorkeling or scuba diving mangel halto is right down the road. It is far from the city center so be prepared to have a rental car or take a taxi to go out on the town. But if you are looking for a nice break from the hustle and bustle it’s a quiet beautifully kept location. "

"One our best vacations ever!!! Trust me this place is amazing and the host were amazing, very friendly and ready to answer any questions you might have. Centrally located allowing easy travel by rental car north n south. I will be staying here again for sure. There us also a great restaurant right behind the villa La Tavola that had the most amazing breakfast, and dinner!!! "
