"Upscale boutique hotel that is in a prime location approximately 3 blocks from downtown La Jolla. We stayed in the Conservatory room which was spacious, clean and has a little window seat overlooking the courtyard. There was a nice tea/water bar outside our room. Would definitely stay here again! "We really enjoyed our stay in this surprising secluded hideaway in the midst of a quaint neighborhood about 5 blocks from the Windandsea Beach. Also a lovely park with a great walking path is in the other direction. The property staff were responsive to correcting a couple of things weren't quite right in the beginning. The kitchenette is well appointed to cover any cooking needs. The shower is a bit of a downside it you are over 5'6" and has a fine spray. The stone tile floor has some wear...
"Hotel was amazing. I was able to check-in early. The staff was excellent. The rec room by the pool was perfect with vending machine and coffee/tea. Location was amazing walkable to everything. Highly recommend. "
"Fantastic location across from the Pacific Ocean. The owners/managers are friendly and accommodating. However they request check in after 4 pm, but lock up at 5pm. You then have to use the phone provided to be given a combination number to access a locked box containing the room key. A nuisance if you are tired after a long trip."
