Begin and end your day whale watching from the lanai, The unit has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings and everything else you could want for an enjoyable stay. Would on have to turn my head to watch the moon set on the ocean while laying on the bed. If I were to suggest something, I would say: 1. Your place is so spectacular that I would suggest a light remodeling if you can. 2. I would not keep old food in the fridge from previous gets. Some dry spices at the cabinetry only. 3. Did miss that welcome coffee and a small bottle...

"Even though the hotel is going through some renovations the hotel staff has managed to keep everything clean and manicured. My husband and I had a wonderful experience stay with Kauai shores."

"The staff and property are amazing, but the location ended up being the best part. Kauai is beautiful everywhere, but the north shore area around HCR really takes the cake! Great, quiet beaches and a variety of things to do close by (but HCR is also far enough away that you don't feel like you're in a heavy tourism area). The shuttle service makes getting around easy but the staff also has good local knowledge/tips if you want to drive yourself. Don't think we'll stay anywhere else on Kauai now...

"Everything was great, and the staff accommodated us several times. Our flight kept getting bumped, and each time, they were prompt in helping, first a later check-in and another booking for another day. Cedric gave us an ocean view on our added day, and that made our last evening in Kauai even more special. Comphy beds, nice hot showers, and the daily cleaning was wonderful too."
