"We were very comfortable. Room was a good size. Room was clean. Our service was very good. Food was good. We enjoyed our stay and would come again. I did feel on the 5th floor hallway was very dark compared to other floors and although we were very comfortable your hotel rooms decor is very dated and could use a face lift."

"We have stayed at the California twice and both times have been pleased; the restaurant staff are friendly and the food is good, and the casino staff are helpful and ready to have a quick chat. Check-in was quick and professional. The hotel has a great location, it's close to Fremont and the bus stop, and you can walk to the outlet mall or take a short taxi ride. My only 'please do better' comment would be cleanliness. The elevator looked like it had never been vacuumed, the same toothpicks and...
