"I wish the description of staying at The Rex were a little more detailed—for example, no elevator. We were in Toronto for medical services, and for one of my parties, it would have been nice if we had known ahead of time that there would be a lot of stairs involved. A "shared bathroom" is a pretty vague description, but I had called ahead on that one. So, I would say more detail and fewer surprises would have given this 5 stars across the board for me. "Beautiful hotel. Lobby/entrance is visually stunning, not like modern sterile hotels. The room itself was spacious/updated and comfortable. We had some drinks at their bar and both the service and drinks were excellent. The hotel is priced well for Toronto and I would definitely stay here again next time in Toronto."
