The resort is beautiful. Food and food staff are pretty good. Housekeeping was fine. BUT The playground was roped off with caution tape all but the last day of our stay. The front desk is mean if you book third party and not with Hilton. I was not given the room I paid for. When moved to the family area I was then given a nature view of a dumpster and raccoons. I had to pay for an upgrade not to open my balcony to literally trash strewn about. Then the hot water was cold the first and the last day of our stay. The middle of the week it was so hot my children and I couldn’t shower. There are no amenities for children in the family rooms not even a bathtub. It’s just by the children’s pool. It’s also the furthest from the lobby and the restaurants so you have to wait for a shuttle and it’s not the safest option with small children. And the beach is not swimable and doesn’t look like the photos. I’m completely disappointed in our experience especially for the price we paid. My mother also slipped and fell at the pool. She will most likely need surgery. The front desk didn’t care and wouldn’t even put a note in the system. I complained the next day about how dangerous is was again and they just put up an additional caution when wet sign. The resort was not full when we were there why anyone would put guests in a garage view room when the resort was not at capacity is beyond me. I don’t know who is running this hotel but they are asleep at the wheel.
