« We just had the most amazing stay at Colleen and Nora's place in Puerto Morelos! The house had everything we needed for our family of five, including the best weather! How they arranged that, I'll never know. We were travelling with three children (12, 10, 8). We were delayed by two hours, but Nora graciously waited for us to arrive to give us an introductory house tour. « The location of the villa was beautiful. It was safe and felt secure. Close proximity to beaches, mall, market and paved walking trails made it comfortable and enjoyable. The private pool was refreshing. It was almost perfect, but we had a terrible smelly leak in the entry to the main gathering area. We contacted the host and was told that someone would be out to repair it. They never showed up. The host was aware of it. We had a 9 day booking and 8 of those days we had to maneuver around a leak...

« The house is big and beautiful. Everything you want to have when you spend time in Puerto Morelos. It takes about 25 minutes to walk downtown by the Beach. Its calm and the pool is fantastic and the concierge Felix is the best kept secret in town!!! Just know that there is no air conditioning in the house. One of the room has it anytime, the other rooms have it from 8pm to 8am. No A/C anywhere else in the house but the breeze coming in is sooooo good! »

« One adult with mobility issues was not a problem. Main floor bathroom and bedroom with easy in/out access was great. This is a property that either requires a rental car, taxis, bicycle or a good deal of walking. We had 2 mobility scooters which easily provided transportation to shopping and local restaurants. However the beach requires either a taxi or Collectivo. The Collectivo's run frequently and will pick you up at the front gate. The draw back is they are fast and can be quite full which...

« Our condo was awesome! Very clean and had just about everything we needed. It also has a washer and dryer which made it nice not having to go back home with loads of laundry. Plenty of room and the back patio personal pool was just what we all needed after a hot day outdoors! Highly recommend!! »

One thing that was surprising and I did not see it in the listing description was that we needed to pay an additional $100 on arrival in cash in case the electricity bill was over the allotted Kilowatts. « We liked the ocean views! Beautiful views from most every room. Had lots of space for the 7 of us. Several places to sit and visit. It was nice to have a basket of beach towels to use while we were there. It could use a bit of updates in the unit. For the price I expected it to be a little nicer furnishings. »
