"The bar was a great place to relax after a 4 1/2 hour road trip. Shower was great! Just miss not having coffee in my room. I understand it would be difficult to fit it into the room. Breakfast in the restaurant was a treat especially before the Timber Sport Competition at Paul Smith College. "

"We had a lovely 3-day stay. The cabin is beautiful and the pictures represent it well. The picture window overlooking the lake is a glorious way to start a morning, and the deck and fire pit are wonderful ways to take in the lake in a quiet setting. We also enjoyed the beach a short walk away. The location is great- a mile or so outside of town and close to hiking trails. The kitchen was clean and fully outfitted to cook, and we took advantage of that a lot. We’d happily stay again."

"My family and I were looking for a cozy winter getaway to relax and enjoy time together. This hit the mark! I will say if you have mobility issues, this is a bit tricky to reach the door in the snow. My mother-in-law needed lots of help. It was slick and the path to the front door was loose rocks. It snowed overnight and was hard to find the path to shovel in the morning. Aside of this, it was a perfect stay. The home was clean and the layout was perfect. We loved having a fireplace to warm up by. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were only four of us, but if you were bringing more, there isn’t a lot of living room seating unless you use the dining table chairs or bar chairs. The bedroom could use some storage as there was no dresser to put clothing and such. The location was perfect for day trips. we would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. It just felt like home!"
