"As usual Hampton Inn is a winner. Check in was smooth and the ladies were nice. The rooms are clean and BIG. The beds are clean with NO bedbugs (most importantly!!!), they have white sheets, and really good pillows too! The bathroom is big and the tub/shower combo has a seat and grab bars as well as a hand held shower nozzle. I do have a negative tho...the view...there wasn't one. When we looked out our window we saw the backside of another building and thats all. Literally. It was awful. "

"It's a nice clean property. You should know that it is right on I 81 and you can hear it all night. The pool is small but really clean and very warm. I love a warm pool! We didn't eat there. Breakfast wasn't included but is available. The continental is $10 a person and there are also made to order items. For the cost we decided to eat elsewhere."

"One phone in the room did not work at all, but the other two did, so there was no problem. The pool area was great. The workout room was tiny: with only three machines. The location was very good: within walking distance of various eateries. The room was very clean. However, two of the white towels had stains on them and/or weren't clean (am not sure which). The bed and furniture were very comfortable."

"Nice place, great location. Super comfortable beds! Nice bathroom and friendly staff. The only issue is the curtains in the bedroom are not big enough to cover the windows. It also covers the AC unit when you attempt to darken the room. It got hot by morning and the sun woke us up. They could fix that so easily with a couple mini blinds. Otherwise a great place. "

"Everything from the property was as expected but the surrounding around the lake in this area is surrounded by some back flies which bite and draw blood. This is not in any manner related to High Peaks Resort but affects the entire area around Mother’s Day to Father’s Day."
