Know before you book

  • At least 2 people are required for this activity to take place.
  • You must have a reasonable level of fitness and be able to hike over uneven terrain for several hours.
  • Pickup is available from hotels in Whistler. You will be able to arrange pickup from your hotel or a nearby location when you call to confirm your reservation.

What you can expect

The High Note Trail is the best advanced hiking experience on Whistler Mountain. Hikers will enjoy stunning views of Black Tusk, a striking volcanic spire that dominates the skyline, along with the almost glowing green of Cheakamus Lake. Your interpretive guide will explain the formation of the rock features that surround you, as well as the ecology of the high alpine meadows.

The trail descends through rugged terrain, then mellows to a rolling course back to Harmony Lake and the Roundhouse. Access is via the Blackcomb Gondola and impressive PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola to Whistler Mountain. From there the thrilling Peak Express chairlift takes you to the trailhead. After the hike download on the Whistler Gondola to the Village.
