Sfendili

Once all guests are on board, we set off towards the hauntingly beautiful Sunken Village of Sfendili, submerged by the waters of the Aposelemis Dam. We stop to capture stunning photos of this ghostly and unique landscape.

Gonies (Pass by)

Leaving Sfendili, we pass through the traditional Gonies Village, surrounded by rugged mountains and authentic Cretan scenery.

Gorge of Embasa-Virgin Mary

After leaving Gonies Village, we then continue off-road alongside the stunning Gorge of Embasa, where the rugged terrain and dramatic cliffs create an awe-inspiring backdrop. This scenic route offers a true sense of adventure as we approach the Panagia Kera Kardiotissa Monastery. The view from here is breathtaking, and we can make a short, optional stop upon request for some photos to capture the beautiful scenery.

Krasi

We then head into the charming Krasi Village, home to a 2,000-year-old plane tree and traditional stone fountains. Continuing through Avdou, Aski, and Kastamonitsa, we enjoy glimpses of authentic Cretan village life as we climb higher into the mountains.

Avdou (Pass by)

Leaving Krasi, we pass through the charming Avdou Village, catching glimpses of authentic Cretan life as we wind deeper into the mountains.

Kastamonitsa (Pass by)

The journey continues through the traditional mountain villages of Aski and Kastamonitsa, surrounded by olive groves and rugged natural beauty.

Lasithi Plateau

Our adventure ascends along off-road mountain tracks, reaching altitudes of about 1,100 metres. Along the way, travellers may spot free-roaming goats, soaring vultures, and majestic eagles. At a mountain-top stop, we relax with fresh seasonal fruits and refreshing Cretan drinks. We then wander across the stunning Lasithi Plateau, famous for its fertile fields and traditional windmills, making scenic photo stops along the way.

Marmaketo

We enjoy a delicious traditional Cretan lunch at a family-run mountain tavern, savouring authentic flavours and wine in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature.

Windmills Of Lasithi Plateau

After lunch, we make a special stop at the iconic windmills located at the entrance of the Lasithi Plateau, where travellers can capture breathtaking photos of one of Crete’s most recognisable landscapes.

Mochos

Before concluding the tour, we stop in Mochos Village at a beautiful panoramic spot, perfect for final photos and taking in the serene Cretan countryside.
