Overview

Enjoy a 4 hour tour from the Seward Cruise Terminal to Anchorage. Travelling on the scenic Seward Highway and through the stunning Turnagain Pass. Your driver will guide you through the history of the Kenai Peninsula and Turnagain Pass from the Indigenous people who first lived there, to Russian fur traders to the discovery of gold, coal, and oil.

This tour includes a stop at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Centre. The nonprofit centre that is dedicated to preservation, education, research, and animal care. The centre takes in injured and orphaned animals to rehabilitate and provide permanent homes at the centre.

The tour ends in Anchorage dropping at the Anchorage Airport, city centre, and midtown Anchorage.

AWCC encourages you to visit the centre with your walking shoes and camera in hand for an educational Alaskan experience to remember. The sanctuary maintains over 200 acres of spacious habitats for resident animals to feel at home displaying their natural wild behaviour as education ambassadors for their species. It is common for visitors to see brown bears swimming, moose strutting, wood bison roaming, muskox playing, wolves posing, porcupines climbing, and more!
