What you can expect

Follow the Colorado River into a wilderness of sandstone bluffs on a cruise that gives you a unique perspective on the wonders of Canyonlands National Park. A rigid-hull inflatable boat and the calm waters along this section of the river create a peaceful experience amid the spectacular sights.

The ride from your hotel brings you to the stretch of river just south of Moab, where your group boards the boat and motors out for an up-close look at the incredible geology that formed the sheer canyon walls. Your guides are on hand to point out the secrets that hide along the waterway, from ancient ruins and rock art to the timeless natural features that dominate the landscape.

As you pass under Dead Horse Point, watch for little canyon wrens flitting between the rocky cliffs. Step ashore for a walk to see a petrified forest that thrived millions of years ago. Motor around the bends of the Goose Neck admire the towering cliffs from an angle you can only see from the river. By the time you turn around to start your return journey, you've had a chance to admire the grandeur of the river from a truly special perspective, with the majesty of the setting sun all around you.
