Trek through the Alpine Crossing in the summer- includes lunch.

Summer offers a majestic landscape of recent resultant volcanic activity. There is a vast array of colours and textures created from Sulphur, Aluminium, Silica, and many other mineral deposits released from within the Earth’s Crust. In summer this track can get crowded and where possible, we take our clients away from the masses while making sure that the popular sights are still experienced.

Description

This 19km trek is New Zealand’s best day one-day walk. The track leads up to the saddle between Mt. Ngauruhoe and Mt. Tongariro. The landscape on Tongariro is peppered with different coloured and shaped craters that have been active at different periods, scoured volcanic rocks, mountain springs and brightly coloured emerald lakes.

Winter offers the opportunity to walk through the magnificent snow-covered landscape without the summer crowds. No outdoor experience is necessary, all training and tuition is given on the day. Crampons and ice-axes are supplied by Adrift Tongariro for a fantastic alpine experience.

...The rest of the walk I keep listen to all those discouraging words frm him & he oni care whether I’ll slow him down. My shoes lace keep coming out, I asked him to help but he felt annoyed,& ended up he juz anyhow put the shoelaces into my boot. Also,I lost my phone after I slide down the last mountain. When I found out it was nt far frm the mountain but he has no intention to help me at all!Once I told him he ignored me,I asked again then oni he used his walkie talkie to ask his colleague to look ard but my grp & his colleague grp slide down frm diff side.he told me thr is no time to let me search for my phone but we r the 1st grp behind us still has 4grps of ppl.It shld be ok to gv me lk 5min but he didn’t he juz walked away.Thr is time he asked me some ques lk am I doin ok & I juz shake/nod my head.Im tired of talking to him.He raised his voice & shouted at me said “YOU NEED TO TALK TO ME!”🙄I think he is juz racist.Lastly,I juz want to say I am very disappointed.
