What you can expect
You will meet your guide at one of the preselected locations (airport, hotel, port). The tour starts off with the magnificent replica of Montmartre Basilic. You will visit the inside-out of the church. Next stop is the crystal-clear river and waterfalls in the wild tropical forest. Time for you to discover the ecosystem around you as well as the indigenous flora and fauna.
After a ride into the luxuriant vegetation, your local guide will take you to a rum distillery where you will learn about history, customs and tradition as well as rum tasting and other local treats. We are now on our way to the historical town of St Pierre:
After the 1902 eruption, the old capital of Martinique was totally destroyed and left in ruins. Get to know about this vibrant part of Martinique's history. Making our way back you will get a chance to take a deep look into the Caribbean Sea and enjoy the warmness of the black sand while being spoiled with some local snacks. Note that the itinerary can change depending on the weather conditions.
