What you can expect

Put your feet to the pedals of a rugged mountain bike on this active excursion through some of Whistler's best single-track trails. Learn to tackle steep slopes, sharp drops, and tight turns on a suspension-equipped bike, getting riding tips along the way from your experienced guide.

Leave from Whistler Village after meeting up with your guide. Head to the trailhead to get fitted for a snug helmet and then spend some time adjusting the height of your seat and handlebars to ensure you're comfortable. Go over a few basic riding techniques and familiarise yourself with the bike's gears before setting off down narrow single-track trails that weave under an evergreen canopy.

Navigate between zigzagging paths that wrap around old-growth cedar trunks and thick patches of ferns, break out into open meadows with sweeping views, and keep an eye out for wildlife. Along the way, listen as your guide offers up tips on your riding style and then head back to the car, honing your skills even more along the way.
