From the centre of Trieste you will reach the karst plateau. From here, the actual path develops to discover the Trieste Karst, a natural area that surrounds the city of Trieste and extends to Slovenia, unique in its kind in terms of morphology and vegetation.
We will take you to the Rocca di Monrupino, a fortified church on a hill, created to protect men and beasts from enemy raids, especially in the 15th century to defend against Ottoman raids. The view from the fortress is superb: on one side you can see the Adriatic Sea and on the other the Slovenian Karst.
The excursion continues with a walk in a characteristic karst village and a stop at a farm - where in a familiar and rustic atmosphere you can refresh yourself with authentic Karst products, including the famous Terrano wine.
The tour takes place with a minimum of 4 people on Saturdays. Reconfirmation 40 hours before the tour. The other days is on a private basis and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 people
