What you can expect

Visit the Dutch island of Saba, nicknamed the “The Unspoiled Queen” thanks to its pristine forest trails and clear waters. Experience this near-perfect eco-paradise for avid divers, hikers, and nature enthusiasts.

Depart Sint Maarten for the short ferry ride to Saba. Spend your day exploring the small island only 5 square miles (13 sq km) in size. Visit the main attraction of the island, Mount Scenery, standing at 2,910 feet (885 m) above sea level. The area around this still-active volcano is full of hiking trails for experienced hikers.

Divers can enjoy both wall and pinnacle dive sites—where magma pushes through the ocean floor causing rock towers to emerge. The waters surrounding Saba are also home to more than 150 different species of fish which can be viewed by divers and snorkellers alike. Stop in the quaint shops of Windwardside to pick up some Saba lace, spiced liqueur, or handmade crafts and jewellery before departing on your ferry back to Sint Maarten.
