What you can expect

From the floor of the Hanapepe Valley to the summit of Mt. Wai'ale'ale, Kaua'i's unparalleled natural beauty stretches from sea to sky. Take in the stunning scenery of the Garden Island from the comfort of an Eco-Star helicopter on this high-flying sightseeing tour.

From your spacious, comfortable seat, watch in awe as you soar over spectacular Hanapepe Valley, with its forested valleys and rugged cliffs. Continue on to Manawaiopuna, known as Jurassic Park Falls for its appearance in the film of the same name. Soar close to hidden cascades tumbling out of dense foliage, watching for rainbows in the shimmering mist.

Make your way to Olokele Canyon and then breathtaking Waimea Canyon, known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Stretching more than 10 miles (16 km) long, dropping more than 3,000 feet (900 m) deep, and spanning a mile (1.6 km) wide, this canyon was formed by the collapse of a volcano and carved by the extreme rainfall on the island's central peak, Mount Wai'ale'ale. Weather permitting, the flight culminates with a visit to the towering summit of Mt. Wai'ale'ale, which, thanks to its 450 inches (1,143 cm) of rain every year, is one of the wettest places on earth. Enter the mountain's massive crater, where 5,000-foot (1,524-m) walls are traced by shimmering 3,000-foot (914-m) waterfalls.

Fly in the touring helicopter specifically designed for air tours – the incredible Airbus EC 130. This state-of-the-art marvel gives you 23 percent more interior room, individual business class style seats, two-way communication with your pilot, and expansive glass for outstanding sweeping views. All Blue Hawaiian aircraft incorporate the latest in cutting-edge technologies, materials, systems, safety features, and avionics, and offer incomparable passenger comfort.
