Set out for a full-day exploration of Barbados as you journey through caves, discover the island’s colonial-era past at a sugar cane plantation home, admire the lush flora at the Barbados Wildlife Reserve, and meet a variety of indigenous animals.

Your knowledgeable guide picks you up at your hotel and drives you to Harrison's Cave, where you take a tram ride deep underground to view immense rock formations of stalactites and stalagmites. From there, enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful Bathsheba admiring the rocky pools before stopping for lunch along the rugged east coast.

Next make your way up Cherry Tree Hill to St. Nicholas Abbey. This 17th-century plantation home is a beautiful example of Jacobean architecture and a remnant of the sugar cane industry that thrived when the island was under British rule. Tour the mansion and admire its historical furnishings before continuing on to Barbados Wildlife Reserve.

While touring the reserve, discover two troops of green monkeys, as well as tortoises and peacocks that call the reserve home. Capture photos of the playful monkeys swinging from limb to limb before your guide leads you to the shuttle for the ride back to your hotel.

I had so much fun on this tour. Firstly, I was impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of Charles my first driver. He provided excellent commentary on the landscape and history behind Barbados and some of it's monuments. Harrison Cave was quite exciting. I loved every part of it and Gabriel was an excellent tour guide! His sense of humor was refreshing and scary at the same time! My other driver, Narend, was just as knowledgeable as the first. Lunch was delicious. St Nicholas Abbey was rich of history and my son thoroughly enjoyed the Wildlife Reserve. I would recommend this tour to other visitors.
