What you can expect

I’m Stefano Corvucci your private chef and guide. I will take you on a journey to the places where the traditional Italian dishes were born. During this trip you will learn about an unimaginable variety of seasonal local ingredients, and you will become an expert in their selection. I will entertain you by showing and explaining everything I have learned during my gourmet life, revealing the treasures of my homeland and its gastronomic secrets. We will try the original recipes from Pellegrino Artusi’s cookbook.

What’s included:

  • Accomodations in an apartment, farmhouse or hotel;

  • Meals,drinks and local transport

  • 3 days in Bologna with personal cooking lessons at the Culinary Institute of Bologna;

  • 1 day in Emilia Romagna discovering the secrets of parmigiano reggiano and prosciutto

  • 1 day in Vignola, Modena with cooking lessons at an old traditional family Balsamic vinegar factory

  • 3 days visiting the splendid mountainous region of the Apennines, on the border with Tuscany and Marche. Here, away from the typical tourist routes, you will discover a fascinating, cosy and very romantic area, unveiling its treasures at every corner;

  • 1 day visiting the Montefeltro area and discovering about the renaissance Duke Federico da Montefeltro;

  • 1 day in Ravenna, once the ancient capital of Rome where we’ll visit the Basilica of San Vitale and its Byzantine mosaics.

What to expect:

  • We’ll cook and eat together the best Italian dishes, according to the season, Foods like porcini and chanterelle mushrooms, white truffles, local meats and seafood, regional salumi and cheeses, fresh vegetables and of course- handmade pastas;

  • We'll drink and appreciate my favourite Italian Wines: Barolo and Barbaresco, Valpolicella and Amarone, Sangiovese, Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino and Super Tuscans

  • Guided tour of the famous food markets in Bologna;

  • Personal cooking lessons at my mountain retreat in the Apennins

  • Dining in my favourite restaurants, picnicking in the woods, cooking Pellegrino Artusi traditional recipes in my kitchen;

  • Visiting local farmers, wine cellars and markets;

  • Visit to the Sanctuary of La Verna (Tuscany) founded by St. Francis of Assisi: here we’ll admire the beautiful works of lead-glazed terracotta by Andrea Della Robbia;

  • Visit to Borgo San Sepolcro (Tuscany), home of the painter Piero della Francesca, where we’ll visit the local muse
