Know before you book

  • Get picked up from your hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi Town, Ao Nam Mao, Klong Muang and Tubkaek Beach. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed by email after you have made the booking.
  • If you stay at Railay Beach, we offer a pickup service from the boat ticket office at Ao Nam Mao Pier which is just a 15-minute longtail boat ride from Railay East.
  • If you stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas, please take the hotel shuttle boat to Nopparat Thara Pier in Ao Nang.
  • During high season the tour cannot be cancelled due to high demand!
  • The Rafflesia only blooms for a few days a year, usually during January and February.
  • Expect basic accommodation during this adventure. You'll sleep in simple jungle bungalow with basic facilities and only fans for cooling.

What you can expect

Discover the Khao Sok National Park, the oldest evergreen rainforest in Thailand, on a 2-day safari trip including an overnight stay in a jungle bungalow. Trek into the evergreen rain forest, canoe along a river and enjoy the lush natural environment by foot with an knowledgeable English speaking tour guide.

The trip starts with a pickup from your hotel in Krabi. From there you will be driven by car to Khao Sok National Park. Make a short stopover of 1 hour at Tha Pom Klong Song Nam where you can walk on a natural trail along the fresh water stream. Continue to the famous Wat Bang Riang, a beautiful hilltop temple which is located on Khao Lan Mountain in Phang Nga province.

Arrive at the Jungle Hut near the Sok River and enjoy a traditional Thai lunch. Check-in at the jungle bungalow and, after a short break, drive to the scenic Khao Sok Viewpoint to take beautiful photos.

The highlight of this trip is a hike into the lush green rainforest of Khao Sok National Park. Trek 3 hours along rainforest trails deep into the valley's stunning scenery lead by an experienced guide who will explain you about the flora and fauna of the oldest evergreen rainforest in Thailand.

Head back to the jungle hut for a well-deserved dinner with healthy Thai food. Settle in the cosy bungalow with the noises of the jungle.

The next morning, enjoy a rich and vitalising breakfast. Then it's time to put your swimming costume on and paddle down the Rok River by canoe. The river safari trip takes approximately 90 min and you will see gibbons swinging in the trees, snakes basking in the sun and other wildlife as you make your way down the stream.

Complete your eco adventure with a lunch before heading back to Krabi with drop-off at your hotel.
