What you can expect
Once you book your Snorkelling Florida trip on Expedia, You'll want to call Laura ahead of time and supply your height, weight and shoe size so she can bring all the proper size fitting gear and be prepared for your arrival. We will double check the dates you booked so there will be no mistakes or confusion for a perfect world. Laura will meet you at the specified venue which you will know of in advance.
If you have never snorkelled before you will be greeted at our venue at the specific date and time. Laura will bring everything and personally outfit you in the mask, fins, snorkel and wetsuit. Step by step, Laura will guide you through the snorkelling key points on dry land. Once you feel comfortable we will approach the beach and wade into the water, waist deep.
We snorkel in calm and clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean. You will be in awe of the abundant marine life with fish literally waiting for you at your feet in this one of a kind snorkelling venue in Southeast Florida.
While you are standing on the bottom, getting comfortable, calm and collected with all the skills Laura has instructed you to use up to this point. At your leisure you will start your swimming (floating really) by paralleling the shore until you get the hang of it. During this period you will be professional Coached by Laura to gain maximum effortless swimming and snorkelling before heading to the snorkelling trail.
Laura is accompaning you the entire time.
You will want to be alert for slow swimming Manatees as we go along the Snorkelling Trail. This amaxing habitat just 25 yards off shore, consists of 3.5 acres big. There is so much area you could spend more than 1 day discovering all the marine life waiting to be found. Florida has over 650 species of fish and 250 types of coral making us the 3rd largest barrier reef in the world. Experience it for yourself with a Florida native and Friendly Approachable Instructor.
