To top it all,\u00a0NASA has predicted that this year&#8217;s\u00a0northern lights will be most intense in over a decade, in addition to the UNESCO declaring 2015 the Year of Light.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although some parts of Canada are blessed with the natural spectacle several times a year, there&#8217;s something immensely exciting about embarking on a journey to see the northern lights in Scandinavia, if only for the\u00a0other iconic Nordic activities, like dog-sledding, sleeping in an igloo, ice-fishing, riding\u00a0reindeers, and much more.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Regardless of where you opt to go, keep in mind that the best time to enjoy the show (let&#8217;s just call a cat a cat!) is between\u00a0the autumn and spring equinoxes; in other words, from September through April,<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>between 11 pm and\u00a02 am.
