La Romana is 1-1/2 hour west of Punta Cana and 1-1/2 hour east of Santo Domingo, the capital city. The nearest resort area to La Romana is Juan Dolio (about 40 minutes west) and Boca Chica (an hour and a half west). La Romana city is about 10 minutes from Casa de Campo. Casa de Campo is about a 25 minute drive from Dominicus and Bayahibe beaches.
