Loyalty app integration allows MyMcDonald’s Rewards members to turn their lunch into a hotel booking on Expedia
Planning a winter getaway or looking ahead to spring break? McDonald’s Canada is teaming up with Expedia® to make travel more rewarding – and it all starts with your next McDonald’s meal.
From now to March 1, 2026, MyMcDonald’s Rewards members can redeem points for hotel or activity discounts to use on Expedia.ca until April 30, 2026. It’s a simple way to turn everyday moments into unforgettable experiences.
How it works:[1]
• 2,000 points = 5% off your next Expedia booking on eligible hotels or activities
• 4,000 points = 7% off your next Expedia booking on eligible hotels or activities
With 100 points earned for every dollar spent, a typical order for a family of four, including burgers, fries and drinks, could earn enough points to unlock a 5% discount on a future trip. Whether you’re booking a cozy winter escape or planning ahead for the summer, this limited time offer makes travel more accessible and rewarding.

The partnership complements Expedia Group’s One Key loyalty program, which gives members access to instant savings with Member Prices. Members can also save up to 25% when adding a hotel after booking a flight on Expedia.

Step-by-step on how to redeem:
- Go to My Rewards section of the McDonalds app
- Check you have enough points to redeem
- Exchange your points for the discount of your choice
- Click on the link below your unique coupon code. This will redirect you to Expedia.ca. The booking MUST be made through the link provided
- On Expedia, search for your desired destination and select an eligible hotel or activity
- On the checkout page, select the ‘pay now’ option and input your code.
- You will also receive an email with your unique discount code and the instructions on how to book your trip
- Book your trip by April 30, 2026.
