The nearby construction is quite messy.

We will definitely be back, the room was extremely clean, bed sheets had no smell compared to other hotels. We fell in love with this place. I will say the parking is very tricky, you will have three options, pay valet parking with hotel magdanela for $55, garage parking $70+ per day or street parking but you have to be lucky.

Wonderful stay, easy to find and everything was clean and accessible.

Clean, quiet and close to Moody Amphitheater

We had a great stay here the first time about a month ago, this time was a little disappointing. Excluding the bartender Austin at Rules and Regs, and excluding the check in staff at the Gold Lounge, the service everywhere else was not great. The lobby bartenders/servers and the lady at Good Times was really not warm, welcoming or friendly at all. Almost like we were bothering them for being there. We also asked the concierge if they had some chips because they did the last time and she told me no but I could purchase snacks in my room. Minor thing but still off-putting. We had the complete opposite experience the first time we stayed here where the staff and service everywhere was excellent so just really a let down especially for the price point of a hotel like this. The property itself is beautiful and has great amenities and the gold experience is nice but we are reconsidering having this place as our go to Austin hotel.

Wish more amenities would be included to guests stayed at hotel such as Spa at no additional costs

The hotel itself was gorgeous and the staff was extra friendly and helpful. The lake view rooms were nice with cozy beds. The welcome fruit and chocolates were a sweet little welcome gift. The amenities were great and had a big 24 hour gym. room service had a pretty big selection and onsite restaurant was excellent especially if you wanted to dress up but not leave the property. The lobby bar was packed and loud which was fun to mingle. I’m surprised there was no walk way or stairs down to the riverfront from the hotel. You had to walk around 2 blocks to the public stairway or cut through the gym and walk on the grass down the hill, which for us, it stormed bad and we were stuck trying to walk up the grass trying not to slip lol.

Loved the location, friendly and helpful staff, modern, lively and well maintained facilities, food options galore, great nightlife. An all around excellent experience!

The breakfast package was perfect—thoughtful choices and great coffee. The fitness center had ample machines for aerobic exercise. The bed was very comfortable.
