Deborah Lofgren, Front Desk Supervisor greeted us with a smile and was extremely helpful! We arrived early from a long road trip and she went above and beyond to accommodate us with a room. We were able to get much needed rest before heading out for the evening. The room was immaculate and comfortable. I’d definitely stay there again.

The property is located in a very convenient location with quick and easy access to get you where you need to go. It’s very close to the airport, therefore late arrival or early departure are no problem especially with the free 24-hour shuttle service. It has avery nice outdoor pool with plenty of poolside seating. It has an onsite bar and restaurant for dining. The room and common areas were clean and well maintained. The furniture in the room was dated and in need of upgrades. The toilet ran intermittently and the AC unit was louder than expected. The fitness room didn’t have wet wipes to wipe down the equipment before and after use. Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives, but a little more TLC would make it a top notch experience.

The staff, the amenities and the room were excellent! 10/10 on everything. I travel a great deal and this was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in for overall experience.

The hotel overall is very good, good value for the money. Good location for tourists. In terms of the interior environment (lobby etc.), it has a unique blend of that DC-common 'majestic design' style, mixed with contemporary fun vibe. The staff are friendly and helpful. I was lucky enough to get an early check in 9am-ish. They gave me a few vouchers that I could use in their Fireclay restaurant. The room is quite spacious. It has a safe (I think that was not mentioned in the list of amenities). They have complimentary bottled water. USB and USB-C charging ports around bedside. Nespresso machine (no tea). Personally I tend to like firm mattress, and the bed here is comfortable for me. There were a few minor drawbacks, mostly around the washing/bathroom area. There are very few provisions for hanging things (toiletries, towels etc). Would be nice to have a trash bin below the sink. Also the water can easily spilll out in the shower area, potentially making a mess in the bathroom floor. The hairdryer isn't great. Also - and this probably isn't the hotel's fault - there is a rather loud ice cream truck with an active exhaust stationed around the corner between 15th St and Pennsylvania Ave.

Property is clean but well overdue for updates. The room was old and dated. It had a broken bathroom vanity and our AC was barely working. AC required multiple resets to get it to blow cold air, it was extremely loud when it turned on, and required to be reset multiple times throughout our 3 nights there. When informed of the poorly working AC, staff offered very minimal solutions. No on was on site to fix the issue, no room change offered and no compensation offered. No follow up was done with us to ensure that the issue had been fixed after we informed them we were able to reset our AC ourselves. Would definitely not stay again.
