Very clean hotel and very helpful staff. Close to Istiklal street. No need for transportation.

I would definitely recommend Divan Istanbul to anyone visiting Istanbul! The location is perfect, with easy access to Taksim, Nişantaşı, Istiklal Street and plenty of amazing restaurants and attractions. The hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable, and the staff were lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back! ❤️

Staff

Hotel was overall good. It passes as a five star, may be one in turkey but not so much in North America so attention to that is important to manage your expectations. Hotel itself is extremely expensive when it comes to meals and drinks even for North American standards. The cleaning staff were very helpful, making the rooms clean on a daily and very promptly. Restaurant staff left a lot to desire as was very hard to order food and order drinks. And this was a general result of the weight staff at all restaurants on premise. The spa is extremely nice. And the gym is really big and useful. They also have free classes for yoga. One thing though is that you do feel very safe coming into this hotel as they have a security checkpoint and metal detectors for anybody that walks into the hotel premise. The hotel is in the street that is kind of small so if you have to leave the hotel for meetings or events, plan ahead as it may take a little bit of time to get a bigger taxi. Smaller taxis which they call yellow taxis are relatively fast as they have a taxi station just outside the hotel.
