14 floor lounge staff was great …but pool bar was not open

The design is cool but the walls are paper thin. You can hear the next room take a shower… The different common areas, outdoor, bars are closed most of the time with limited access though the day and evening. The bartenders do not have enough products to create basic cocktails any decent bar should be able to do for their paying clients. On the up side, the Staff was friendly and the food was good. At that price point I would say PASS. You can get more for your money in pretty much any hotel in Austin downtown.

Staff was amazing. But room was not what I expected for the price, phone didn’t work, tv glitchy (also not a smart tv, no casting or apps). Shower was nasty

After a very stressful and uncomfortable experience at another hotel in Austin the night before that prompted me to check out and find somewhere else to stay, staying at Hotel ZaZa Austin was exactly what I needed. From the moment I walked in, everything felt clean, calm, and well cared for. The room was spotless—truly one of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in—and beautifully designed. It struck the perfect balance of stylish and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable, the linens felt fresh and high quality, and the temperature was perfectly controlled. It was quiet, relaxing, and made it easy to fully rest and recharge. You can tell this hotel takes pride in both cleanliness and guest experience. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

Excellent property. West facing rooms are quite noisy late into the night, as to be expected in an urban area. Professional, attentive staff.

Every hotel/bar staff member I encountered was super friendly and accommodating! The location of Hotel San Jose is FANTASTIC!!!!
