Lovely friendly staff and a beautiful hotel. Our room was beautiful, clean and the bed was so comfy. Only issue was the bathtub didn’t fill as the plug was dodgy which was a shame as it was a lovely large tub. Also, had a coffee in the morning in the room and the milk pod provided curled into chunks in the coffee so I’m assuming out of date although we didn’t check as was in a rush to check out. Location is perfect! Lots of choices for food and a lovely Irish bar on the corner. The centre is only a 10 minute walk. I’d definitely recommend staying here and if I come back to Budapest I’d certainly stay here again.

The only thing that needed improvement was that chafing dishes should be used to ensure that scrambled eggs and sautee veggies are kept warm.

What an experience from start to finish… My stay at Hotel Al-Habtoor in Budapest was nothing short of exceptional, and I can confidently say it exceeded every expectation. The atmosphere was calm and luxurious, the facilities were spotless, and the treatments were deeply relaxing. It was the perfect place to unwind after exploring the city, and it added a real sense of indulgence to the stay. As for the food, it was outstanding. Every meal was beautifully presented and full of flavor, with high-quality ingredients and a great variety of options. Breakfast was especially impressive, offering both local and international selections to suit all tastes. Dining at the hotel felt like a culinary experience in itself. The room was nice, we had a balcony looking out to the city which was a nice bonus but did not get much use in winter. The hotel is well connected via metro to the city but is also walkable.
